Night fall - it’s on
that face is on the channel
A thought, surmised
a thought - I couldn’t keep alive
For too long
Beat down
the fear of God in everyone
Give it up
I’ll give it up
one day, for now its all I got
Oh no!
He’ll never come down
He’s a TV God.
I’m right.
You’re wrong.
Pick up the pieces and move on
To find a light
illuminated to survive
His gaze upon me I just find a way to throw it off
Relax.
I’m gone -
You’ve got me in your TV eye...

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
Still a solid album, but not as impactful as their previous effort, 'The Hearth'.
More restrained than its predecessor, this record is less of a punch in the face and more of a grower, with a lot of its nuances unpacking after a couple of spins.
Great album in line with the quality of the former. Dionysos Nyktelios
