lyrics
No fun is a lonely club
will ya get it together
online where’s the funny vibe?
you’re not picture perfect
all these menial things we do
to stand out all the way
wine stain on the table
I’ve been clean for days
Good looks don’t matter to me
so don’t let me down
Good looks don’t matter to me
so don’t let me down
oh baby let me out
Goth kid with a janky frown
all dressed in leather
like a cat who’s catching a mouse
you’re all pain for pleasure
old school dirty look
with a face of gold
swipe around the town
you can swipe around for someone better
Good looks don’t matter to me
so don’t let me down
Good looks don’t matter to me
so don’t let me down
oh baby let me out
Hot faces in with the crowd
keep letting me down
they don’t take me out
Good looks don’t matter to me
so take me down oh baby let me out

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
