lyrics
Night fall - it’s on
that face is on the channel
a thought surmised
a thought I couldn’t keep alive
for too long
beat down
the fear of God in everyone
give it up
I’ll give it up one day
for now its all I got
He’ll never come down
He’s a TV God.
I’m right. You’re wrong.
pick up the pieces and move on
to find a light
illuminated to survive
His gaze upon me
I just find a way to throw it off
relax
I’m gone
You’ve got me in your TV eye…

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
